Shy Kick Apple(害羞踢蘋果)

Shy Kick Apple was formed during the 18th Yamaha Pop Music Contest. Started out with guitarist OR and drummer Bo-Bo back in September of 05, we ran with the simple idea of making something musically interesting, something that attract girls. With the arrival of bassist Pi-Pi and vocalist OEJ, Shy Kick Apple had its foundation in place. Da-Jin on Sax and Saku on trumpet also came on board later. Finding a group name was a rather easy process, with "ska" being the obvious choice, we stretched the ska abbreviation into Shy Kick Apple and there it was, since a band was not completed without a proper name. Later we signed up for the 18th Yamaha Pop Music Contest; the track "sunny day" was completed during the time. Sam from the Fire Extinguisher jumped in as the secondary vocalist, who completed the lyrics in a very short time. SKA went into the contest with the new vocal harmonization of OEJ and Sam. Drummer Bo-Bo finished the contest with the top drummer honor. We held a meeting afterward and decided to keep the group and continued to make music. Jhih-Pai on flute joined the group soon afterward, and Shy Kick Apple was officially formed.

害羞踢蘋果是在第18屆YAMAHA熱門音樂大賽中成立的，那是我們的第一個比賽~~~2005年9月原本只有吉他手OR跟鼓手坡坡兩個人在構想，想要做一團特別的東西，去參加YAMAHA的熱音賽，於是先找到了BASS手皮皮和主唱OEJ, 但還是沒能決定要玩哪一種的樂風，後來因為大家覺得要做些什麼樣的音樂可以在晚會上把馬子~~所以就決定玩SKA PUNK了。SKA PUNK需要的是管樂手的加入，才能夠整體成型，因此陸續找了坡坡的同學、OR的學長SAX手大金、小號手文翰(SAKU)，而團名方面就取SKA三個字母，延伸出了害羞踢蘋果這個團名~~“Shy Kick Apple”。終於順利報名了第18屆的YAMAHA熱音賽，第一首創作曲“晴天”就是在那個時候完成的，後來加入了另一位主唱~~大正，他在極短的時間內將這首歌的詞填好，由OEJ譜成雙聲部，就參加比賽了！比賽結束後，鼓手坡坡得到了第18屆的最佳鼓手。當時團員們經過開會討論，決定要繼續玩下去，隨後加入了長笛手 ~~智棓，到此“害羞踢蘋果”就正式成立。
